Cheetah Girl		Cairo

Hello! My name is Alicia Yanow. I've lived in the  Bay Area since 1984, when I started school at U.C. Berkeley. After graduating, with a degree in Anthropology, my two cats, Miki and Mojo, and I moved to San Francisco.

I have lived in Cow Hollow/Marina since 1997. My cats have been considered members of the family and have never stayed in a kennel. Miki passed away in 2001 at the age of 20. Mojo passed away in October 2006 at the age of 16.

After being in the event management field for almost 5 years,  I decided I needed a career change. I started Pet's Best Friend because I wanted to do something I was passionate about, something I was good at and enjoyed.

I recently welcomed two new addtions to my family, Cheetah Girl and Cairo (above).

Along with growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, fish and a rabbit, I have these experiences in animal care.
